The Library Advisory Board meets at noon on the third Wednesday of each month. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.
The Board is meeting both online and in person. If you would like to attend in person, please call the library at 541-882-8894 ahead of your visit. The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society meets at the downtown Klamath County Library on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm. (The Society also has a sub-group, focused on using DNA data in genealogy research, which meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm.)
The general public is always welcome to join in at both meetings.

The creative writers group for adults is back at the downtown Klamath County Library! The revamped group will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 2 pm to 3 pm, and it’s open to anyone who wants to improve their writing skills in a positive environment. No previous writing experience necessary!
We’ll have writing prompts and discussion to get you going, and feel free to bring in something you’re working on to workshop with the group.

Women from the lowest caste in India risk everything to speak truth to power with their journalism in the documentary Writing with Fire, screening on March 14th at 5:30 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.
Kids in grades K-8 can develop STEM skills with a series of four hands-on robotics workshops at the downtown Klamath County Library, led by an Oregon Tech assistant professor! The workshops will run from 3:30 pm to 5 pm on Mondays, from February 13th through March 13th. (Note there will be no workshop on February 20th, as the library will be closed for Presidents’ Day.)
