All Klamath County libraries will be closed on Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. No materials will be due on a day that the libraries are closed.

Mountain climber Nate Ganong will take us on a travelogue of his journeys on Wednesday, June 26^th at 2 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Ganong will discuss his expeditions to crags, mountains and volcanoes both near – Gearhart, McLoughlin, Shasta – and far (as far as South America!). He’ll go through the what, where, and how of high-altitude climbing – including the specialized equipment, techniques and challenges that make this sport both dangerous and exhilarating.
