Most recently, Klamath Falls served as the setting for the 2019 independent comedy Phoenix, Oregon – which, through an odd strike of luck, became the #1 box office release in America in March 2020. February is Oregon Month! Oregon became a state on February 14th, 1859, and we’re celebrating the natural and cultural history of our state with a variety of themed kits! Pick up a new kit each week at the Youth Services desk. For ages 5-12.
(And by popular demand, these craft kits will now be available at the Bonanza, Chemult, Chiloquin, Malin, Merrill and South Suburban branch libraries, while supplies last.)
