Join the Northside Garden Club on Tuesday, May 24th at 1pm at the South Suburban Branch Library for a discussion about the impact of fire on the landscape at Lava Beds National Monument and Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge in nearby northern California.
David Hays, the Natural Resources Program Manager at Lava Beds & Tule Lake, will show how fire is a natural part of the rugged, volcanic landscape, and how the plants that thrive there have adapted to fire in various ways.
In honor of National Poetry Month, you are cordially invited to Poetry & Pie at the Keno Library.

The downtown Klamath County Library is celebrating National Poetry Month with a teen poetry contest!
From sonnets to Viking epics to minimalist haiku and rap lyrics, there are lots of ways to express yourself through poetry, and we want to see yours! The winning poet will take home a $20 gift card to a local bookstore, and their work will be featured on the library’s website and Facebook page.
New! Pizza & Graphic Novels Club – Thursday, April 28th at 5 pm. Eat pizza and chat about graphic novels on the last Thursday of every month at 5pm! (We'll be discussing Olivia Stephens' Artie and the Wolf Moon at the first meeting on April 28th - sign up and pick up your copy of the book at the Youth Services desk starting Friday, April 1st.)

Join us on the second Monday of each month (March 14th) for a full day of stories, songs, activities and crafts and more to develop your conversation skills en español:
