The downtown Klamath County Library is holding a Minecraft build contest for kids and teens in November!
We want to see your coolest, most tricked-out secret forts. (Thoughtful décor? Awesome! Devious traps? Rad!) We’ll be judging entries in three age categories: Ages 5 to 8, Ages 9 to 12, and Ages 13-18. Winners in each category will win a $20 gift card to a local gaming shop.
Come check out historical swordfighting at the downtown library on Tuesday, Sept 29th at 6pm!
Pelican City Swords, a HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) troupe will swing some swords at each other, 14th century Italian longsword style. (If you've ever wanted to be a character in the Assassin's Creed games that are set during the Italian Renaissance, you're going to want to check this out.)

Anne Frank's Diary of a Young Girl is a heartbreaking glimpse into a a grim period of human history – and nearly 80 years after its publication, it still has lessons to offer us.
