When you're trying to get out from under addiction to drugs or alcohol, it can be hard to ask for help. One element that makes it hard is the stigma around addiction -- but you can help! Discuss ways to reduce stigma on Monday, July 21st from 10am to noon in a conversation with Klamath County health officials.

Sofia and Louise are newly-qualified midwives, excited to help parents bring their newborns into the world. However, they quickly encounter the challenges of hospital life with limited resources and staffing. While this is a work of fiction, Midwives features footage of real childbirth by non-actor patients at the hospital where filming took place.

This is a fun, welcoming club for strummers of all levels! Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned uke enthusiast, you’re invited to come make music with us. We’ll meet monthly at the library for a casual jam session led by a song leader, with chords and lyrics displayed on the big screen so you can follow along—no textbooks required!
