Gardening in the Klamath Basin: Adapting to the Challenges

The popular Oregon State University Extension Gardening Lecture Series returns! OSU associate professor Nicole Sanchez is back to educate you on more gardening topics this summer.

Join us Saturday, May 10th at 2 pm for an introduction to the particular challenges presented by the Klamath Basin’s unique climate. Then on Saturday, May 24th at 2pm, we’ll walk you through how to set up a drip irrigation system in your garden.

Sanchez has worked in the horticulture industry for over 30 years. She runs the Klamath County Master Gardener Program at the OSU Klamath Basin Research and Extension Center, and has worked extensively with both home gardeners and commercial produce growers.
