Our The Aging Journey seminar series continues!
Staff from Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) are giving presentations on a variety of topics of interest to older folks Thursdays at 10 am at the downtown Klamath County Library.
Each presentation can be attended as a stand-alone; stop by for the topics that interest you!
Join us for:
- Thursday, Sept. 3rd: Wills and Trusts. Make sure your assets go where you want!
- Thursday, Sept. 10th: Aging-Related Physiology. What is "normal aging" and what is injury or a chronic condition?
- Thursday, Sept. 17th: Advocating for Your Medical Needs. Learn how to get various specialists up to speed on your medical history. Get the treatment you need!
- Thursday, Sept. 24th: Dementia & Safety at Home. Set yourself or your loved ones up to stay safe as you age in place at home.
KBBH Behavioral Health Specialists, Patricia "Patty" Card, and Kelli Bowers will show you how you and your family can prepare for challenges and celebrate triumphs as you age. Card has worked at KBBH for more than 35 years. Bowers has worked in the field of human services and social work since 1984 in Utah and Oregon. Both currently specialize in the mental health needs of older adults.
