Historical Fencing Sword Demo

Come check out historical swordfighting at the downtown library on Tuesday, Sept 29th at 6pm!

Pelican City Swords, a HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) troupe will swing some swords at each other, 14th century Italian longsword style. (If you've ever wanted to be a character in the Assassin's Creed games that are set during the Italian Renaissance, you're going to want to check this out.) 

Teen Murder Mystery: Murder at the Rattlesnake Saloon

The downtown Klamath County Library's latest Murder Mystery roleplaying event for teens takes place on Wednesday, Sept. 16th at 5:30pm!

Wild West power couple Adelaide Whitlock and Samuel Bellamy are tying the knot, and celebrating their nuptials at the Rattlesnake Saloon. But not everyone on the guest list has good intentions... there's a murderer among you.

Diary of Anne Frank Play & Bookclub with the Linkville Playhouse

Anne Frank's Diary of a Young Girl is a heartbreaking glimpse into a a grim period of human history – and nearly 80 years after its publication, it still has lessons to offer us.

Discuss the book at the downtown library on Tuesday, Sept. 15th at 4pm in partnership with the Linkville Players acting troupe. (Linkville Playhouse is presenting the play adaptation The Diary of Anne Frank from Sept. 11th to 26th at the Linkville Playhouse, 201 Main St.)
