“Pregame” your Trick or Treating at the library! We’ll have spooktacular-themed games and crafts for the whole family, and we’re screening the 1993 animated classic The Nightmare Before Christmas. [Rated PG, runtime 1 hour, 16 minutes.] For all ages.
Costumes enthusiastically encouraged, but please don't bring weapons or realistic toy weapons to the library – if you’re not sure, leave it at home.
Kids and teens can get a whirlwind tour of the world of art, complete with hands-on projects! Join us Saturday, October 21st and Saturday, October 28th for Youth Art Class: from 1 pm to 2:30 pm for ages 6-10, and from 3 pm to 4:30 pm for ages 11-18.
Local artist and art educator Becky Ross will give an overview of major styles and techniques in art history, and will lead participants in an art project for some hands-on experience! (Each Saturday will have different projects, so you can come to both if you want to!)
