Monthly Veterans Meetup

We invite Veterans and their loved ones to gather at the downtown Klamath County Library on the second Wednesday of the month from 10 am to noon for our Monthly Veterans Meetup!

Discuss the unique needs of veterans and their families, and get connected with agencies who can help you get the benefits you've earned.

This program is offered in partnership with the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

For more information, call 541-882-8894.

Teen & Adult Ukulele Club

Join our Ukulele Club on the second Tuesday of the month! This monthly event is for adults and teens. Folks interested in beginner lessons should arrive at 5:30 pm; a general jam session for all skill levels starts at 6 pm.

This is a fun, welcoming club for strummers of all levels! Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned uke enthusiast, you’re invited to come make music with us. We’ll meet monthly at the library for a casual jam session led by a song leader, with chords and lyrics displayed on the big screen so you can follow along—no textbooks required!

Semiquincentennial Book Club: 1776

Discuss America's origins at a special event book club discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 9th at 4pm!

The Klamath County Museum will be discussing 1776 by David McCullough. The book covers the start of the American Revolutionary War, focusing particularly on military actions and the leadership (and indecisiveness) of George Washington during the opening events of the conflict.

Copies of the book are available at the downtown library's Information desk. (If you need one sent to a branch, call us at 541-882-8894.)
