Klamath Basin Genealogical Society - DNA Interest Group

The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society DNA Interest Group, which focuses on using DNA data in genealogy research, meets at the downtown Klamath County Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm.

The full Society usually meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm, but the Society is hosting its annual all-day seminar on Saturday, Sept. 27th instead. See the Society's website for more details.

The general public is always welcome to join in.

Real Reads Book Group: Autocracy, Inc.

Read books about real issues! The Real Reads Book Group tackles a variety of current social issues – race, gender, immigration, poverty, criminal justice, and more – with nonfiction and memoir titles. We meet on the first Saturday of the month at 3pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Baby/Toddler Sleep Seminar

Get tips on how to get your little ones to sleep in a seminar on Monday, August 4th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the downtown Klamath County Library.

Emma Byrd Harding -- a certified pediatric sleep consultant who knows what it's like to be a sleep-deprived new mom -- will give you strategies to help you and your child rest, whether they're a newborn in a crib or a toddler with a big-kid bed (who's sometimes stubborn about bedtime). Harding operates her company, Baby Byrd Sleep Consulting, in Klamath Falls.
